JEEP WRANGLER







The Jeep Wrangler is a compact SUV manufactured by the US company Chrysler and sold under the Jeep brand. It is the successor to the Jeep CJ, the civilian version of the Willys MB, a military vehicle used by the US Army in World War II.

The Wrangler spanning three generations, internally called YJ, TJ and JK and released in 1987, 1997 and 2007 respectively. From 1987 to 1992, the Wrangler was manufactured in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. Today, the Wrangler is made in Toledo, Ohio, United States.

The name "Wrangler" was not used in Canada, because it was a level of equipment of a Chevrolet truck in that market. However, from 1987 to 1995 they were sold with the nickname "YJ" and from 1997-2006 as "TJ".
